It is finally the birthday of Nollywood actress, Omobolarinde Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi.
Taking to her Instagram page to share photos of herself dressed in while, Ashabi expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life. She noted how it could have been worse, but God made it better.
The mother of two went on to pray for herself, asking God for peace, comfort, and prosperity. She prayed not to lack good things, nor to mourn or cry bitterly.
“Finally, it’s my birthday. Happy blessed birthday to me.
Thank God for the gift of life. It could be worse, but it chose to be better. Alhamdulillah.
May this new age of mine bring much peace, comfort, wealth, and fame.

Hours ago, Ashabi had shared photos of herself dressed like a mad woman, revealing that it reflects what life showed her in her late 20s and how life wanted her to look, but God said no.
Speaking about her love life, she described Portable as a narcissist, noting how one can’t predict his next move, especially when he is the jealous type and has anger issues. She said she wakes up every day thinking about how best to manage him.
While counting down to her birthday, Ashabi said she had zero regrets and a million lessons to learn. She further said she was leaving it all to God because she was assured that whatever would be, would be.
In another post, the mother of two had addressed critics, telling them to leave singe, Portable. She told them to allow her to breathe and reduce their advice, and further told them to let her be and allow her to think for herself.
Still on her birthday countdown, she shared photos of herself in a pink dress, stating that she is a Capricorn and, as such, she does things scared, broke, alone, unsure, and yet still does them anyway. She told God she must be genuinely happy.
In an Instagram post last year, the Yoruba actress said she couldn’t afford to fail because the lifestyle she wants is expensive. The mother of two prayed that we don’t labour in vain.
She slammed a troll who labeled her a babymama while checking up on her. Giving the troll an update on her health status, she referred to the troll as barren.
