Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham is basking in the euphoria over her new milestone at the box office.
The movie star and filmmaker, via her Instagram page, revealed that her 2025 Cinema movie, Oversabi Aunty, has crossed over N950 million at the box office.
Toyin stated that it feels like a dream, expressing gratitude to God and everyone.
“Feels like a dream🥹🥹 Thank you JESUS. Thank you everyone, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Oversabi Aunty is still showing in cinemas”.
A few weeks back, Abraham was left emotional over the massive love she received from residents of Bonny Island in Port Harcourt. Sharing photos of the crowd at the cinema, for her movie, she praised them for their love and energy, which was unmatched.
Early last year, the wife of Kolawole Ajeyemi had achieved a new milestone as her latest cinema movie, Alakada Bad and Boujee, gets ranked the 5th highest grossing Nollywood release of all time.
Silverbird honored the actress with a Trailblazer award at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year award for being fearless, dynamic and redefining Nollywood.
To celebrate her win, Toyin penned a heartfelt note on Instagram, noting how the award is a reminder that hard work, perseverance, and passion never go unnoticed. She noted that the journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped her.
