Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has reached out to the public for their opinion, expressing heartbreak over not being able to cook for the less privileged children.
It is no longer news that the actress, well known for her charity work of cooking and feeding the less privileged, was stopped by operatives of KAI.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Sarah expresses her heartbreak at seeing the kids constantly yearning for her meals. She said they crowd her up with every opportunity and constantly question her why she hasn’t been cooking for them.
Martin said she also misses cooking for them, and it breaks her heart that the constant smiles she brought to their faces were cut short. Getting a space, as instructed by Seyi Tinubu and his friends, hasn’t been easy. The Asaba actress added that she is working extremely hard and praying even harder to secure a conducive space as soon as possible, because bringing smiles to their faces brings her immense joy and satisfaction.
“It has not been easy on my side.
I’ve been acting strong, but I’m tired of being strong.
It breaks my heart to see these kids constantly yearning for my meals.
They crowd me with every opportunity and constantly question me why I haven’t been cooking for them.
I miss cooking for them, and it breaks my heart that the constant smiles I brought to their faces were cut short and getting a space as instructed by Mr Seyi and friends has not been easy.
I’m working so hard and praying even harder to get a conducive space as soon as possible because bringing smiles to their faces brings me immense joy and satisfaction.
Should I cook from my house for now, pending when I get a space?????

Kemi Filani reported that Sarah had cried out to the public after allegedly being assaulted by uniformed men, presumably, Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) officials while cooking for the less privileged on the street. On her Instagram page, she shared a video of her bruised hand, expressing heartache over their behaviour.
In another post, she admitted that she was wrong to cook on the walkway, but their operatives were mean to carry away food meant for pøor street children without empathy. Martins noted how the operatives cut their hopes short, traumatised them, and took away a big cooler of rice meant for 200 street kids.
The assault, however, turned to blessings for her, as she got gifted N20 million form the president’s son, Seyi Tinubu. He also promised to take her free food charity outreach to the next level.
Before the incident, Cubana Chief Priest’s wife had gifted her a million naira to support her charity work. The Asaba actress revealed how speechless she was as she hailed the millionaire’s wife.
Similarly, Martins had recalled how someone reached out to her via DM to applaud her for being amazing, and had surprised her with a bag of rice and other foodstuffs to encourage her to keep doing more. The actress noted how God has constantly brought different people into her life to put smiles on her face, just as she puts smiles on the faces of others.
