Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about her struggle to adjust to the spotlight.

According to her, the pressure to constantly appear glamorous has been one of her biggest challenges since winning the reality show.

Daily Post quoted the reality TV star as having admitted at a recent public event that fame has come with expectations she finds uncomfortable, particularly the demand to always wear makeup and maintain a polished appearance.

“I’d say having to put on makeup each time I step out, maybe for an event like this, really isn’t my thing,” Imisi reportedly said. “I don’t like things on my face, and I even hate hairs on my body.”

Naijaonpoint reports that Imisi, who became a household name after her victory on the popular reality show, explained that she has always preferred a more natural and simple lifestyle before fame changed her routine.

The 27-year-old star said that while she appreciates the importance of presentation as a public figure, she still finds it difficult to conform to the industry’s beauty standards.

“This is something I really need to adjust to. Honestly, I think I look good without all that, but because of what you’re trying to portray and how people expect you to appear, you’ve got to keep your hair, makeup, and nails done,” she said.

Her comments highlight a common struggle faced by many reality TV stars who transition from private to public life, where image and brand management often become part of their daily routine.

Naijaonpoint reports that since emerging as the winner of BBNaija 10, Imisi has gained millions of followers across social media platforms and attracted brand endorsements.

However, she noted that the demands of fame have made her more self-conscious and often conflicted between staying authentic and meeting public expectations.
