Rita Edochie bade farewell to Junior Pope

Since the news of his death, Rita Edochie hasn’t ceased to pay tribute to him. The veteran had even refused to celebrate her birthday in April as she dedicated it in memory of JP. She noted how the late actor never missed her birthdays while adding that no death in Nollywood had made her this crãzy.

When his burial poster came out, Rita lamented over how imbalanced life is as she lamented bitterly over how her once vibrant son was now the one a funeral arrangement was made on his behalf.

Rita revealed that for days, she had been trying to keep her mind off him and not to imagine that he was no longer here, but ...er just awakened the vacuum in her heart.

On his posthumous birthday on May 8th, Rita noted how she could no longer celebrate his birthday with him physically. She stated that her heart once more felt shattered as she threw some questions at him, revealing she takes solace in knowing that he is watching over them.

In other news, Rita had spoken out on the series of deaths in Nollywood, telling those peddling false rumours about Nollywood to stop slandering the industry. She stressed that death is everywhere, as humans are mortals.
