‘It Left Me Fighting For My Life’ – Jemima Osunde Share Health Struggle After Eating Contaminated Food On Movie Set

Nollywood actress, Jemimah Osunde, has opened up about battling a health challenge for three years after eating contaminated food on a movie set.

Naijaonpoint reports that the movie star, in a post via X on Thursday, revealed that her stomach and entire gastrointestinal tract (GIT) have been problematic.

Jemima said she contacted pylori from the food she ate at the movie set in Ibadan and has been fighting for her life since the movie shoot.

She wrote, “I’ve never regretted anything the way I regret taking that job and going with them to Ibadan to shoot under their care.. Got h pylori from set food and the aftermath GERD has left me fighting for my life the last 3 years.

“The past month has really been something. *sigh My own stomach is my greatest op. Actually, my entire GIT. SMH.”

Meanwhile, veteran Nollywood actor, famous in the Yoruba film industry, Dele Odule, has recounted the death of his first child.

Naijaonpoint reports that the movie star, in an interview with his colleague, Kunle Afod, said the death of his child was the saddest moment of his life.

The 63-year-old thespian said the tragic incident was tough on him, particularly due to the circumstances surrounding the child’s birth.

Odule said he accepted the demise as the will of God and prayed never to face such a tragedy again.
