Nigerian music star Davido has penned an emotional note to his manager, Asa Asika, following his wedding.

Kemi Filani reported in September, 2024 that Asa Asika had popped the question to his heartthrob. The couple-to-be blushed in their black outfits as family and friends celebrated with them, including his boss, Davido, and the 30BG crew.

Taking to his Instagram story, Davido revealed that he was the first person to see the ring as he expressed excitement over their upcoming nuptial.

On Saturday, May 17th, the lovebirds, held their traditional wedding in Lagos which had in attendance Davido and the 30bg crew. The singer was captured in videos performing his groomsmen’s duty for Asa.

In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, he revealed that Asa Asika’s wedding day shattered him in the most beautiful way. Seeing him stand beside his wife with peace in his eyes and love in his heart made him emotional.

Davido noted how nothing was handed to them, and they built their empire through fire, faith, and a bond that never broke. He noted how they didn’t chase the spotlight but stayed rooted, loyal to their story and their people.

The singer further noted that Asa has been more than a manager to him; he has become his shield and brother in every battle. He praised Asika for being the same solid soul he started with.
