Media personality and former OAP Daddy Freeze has reacted to the altercation between legendary singer 2baba and his wife, Natasha.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday evening that a former staff member of 2Baba, identified as Kaka, granted an interview to Freeze, alleging that Natasha frequently hindered the singer’s growth and exerted psychological control over him.
According to Kaka, 2Baba rarely spoke up against her in Nigeria, but while on tour abroad, he was more vocal about wanting his music and business to progress. Kaka further alleged that Natasha was insecure about the singer’s success, fearing it would make him harder to control. He described her behaviour as psychologically diminishing, insisting it reduced the singer’s confidence and affected his mental state. He added that he eventually cut ties with the couple because he believed Natasha’s conduct impeded 2Baba’s career.
Surprisingly, 2baba had joined the Live broadcast to address the situation when he and Natasha got into a heated argument. The singer quickly exited the live stream, fueling more tension between the couple.
Reacting to it, Daddy Freeze said if anything happens to the music icon tomorrow, no one will hold him accountable, as he had tried for him.
He said what happened in his life traumatised him, and it was scary. He said he is bothered by the couple and told those close to them to intervene.
“If anything happens to 2baba in this life, nobody can say I didn’t try.
What happened on my Live show today traumatised me. I don’t know the details of what happened, but it was scary. I am bothered by 2Face and Natasha. If you are close to them, can you please check on them? Even my wife was worried. I don’t know who to call”.
The former OAP appreciated his wife for not beating him because a lot of people would have made a jest of him.
“My darling, anytime I see you, I am thankful. Thank you for not beating me because a lot of people would have made a jest of me and say ‘see the person that talks about people’s lives”.
The tension is coming hours videos released online shown the moment, 2baba was arrested on handcuffs after an altercation with Natasha in the UK.
Refreshing your memory, in October, reports made rounds that the singer had gotten into an altercation with his then-pregnant wife and had been arrested.
Recall that when the news of 2baba’s engagement made rounds online, his mother made a passionate appeal to Natasha. She begged the Edo lawmaker to remove the beads she kept on her son’s hands and neck and free him. Rose noted how her son was going through a divorce process from Annie and as such, wasn’t in his right senses.
Back in July, the music icon, in an episode on Nedu’s podcast, said that a man isn’t built to be sexually active with one woman. He stated that a man can love a woman, but it’s impossible for him to sexually be with only one woman.
Making a u-turn, 2baba, in a video on his Instagram page, admitted that he fucked up. He tendered an apology to his wife Natasha, whom he described as the love of his life, fans and his kids.
His younger brother, Charles Idibia, claimed that he had been captured from inside the frying pan and thrown into an industrial furnace as he accused his girlfriend, Natasha, of controlling and manipulating him. He urged his brother to wake up for the sake of his kids.
Media personality, Do2dtun expressed concern for the singer, noting that 2baba never addresses anything like this. He expressed believed that 2baba is vulnerable and someone is milking it and forcing him to be who he isn’t.
