Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has spoken out following her touching testimony.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Tonto shared a testimony on her healing from addiction and masturbation. She revealed that she began smoking at the age of 13 due to her father’s influence and smoked for 27 years before the addiction was completely broken. She also revealed that she struggled with alcoholism, and battled masturbation.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she described it as not merely a memory, but her bravest and proudest moment.
Dikeh had revealed for decades an invisible chain, forged of shame, doubt, and conditioned fear, that held her heart in check, preventing the full, radiant expression of her faith. She said she yearned to love Jesus, but she couldn’t, on her own strength, shatter that self-imposed barrier.
