“It was scary at first removing certain people from my life” – DJ Cuppy admits as she preaches on protecting one’s peace

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known by her stage name DJ Cuppy, has lectured the public on the importance of protecting their peace.

In an Instagram story, she avowed that fasting from certain people is important, as she noted how not everyone is good for you and that sometimes, distance is the best thing you can do for yourself.

Cuppy revealed that she has removed certain people from her life, or they left her. She admitted that it was scary at first, but she feels like she has progressed so much because of it.

She emphasized that protecting one’s peace isn’t selfish but necessary.

I’ve removed certain people from my life, or they left me. It was scary at first but honestly, I feel like I’ve progressed so much because of it.

A week back, Cuppy, had expressed gratitude to God over her luxury lifestyle. She stated that growing up, she didn’t fully realize how privileged she was as she never had to worry about anything; now, she sees things differently. Cuppy added that what felt normal to her was something someone else was praying for.

Last year, Cuppy announced that she was no longer searching for new friends. The disc jockey shared photos of her mother, sisters, and boxer, Anthony Joshua, as she described them as her inner circles and made it known that she wasn’t looking for any more friends.

The billionaire heiress, in an Instagram message to her future partner, shared a photo of her in Leicester Square, UK. In her caption, she admonished any man coming into her life not to try to unspoil her because she is already spoilt.

When Nigeria turned 64 years in October, the disc jockey described Nigeria as her superpower, as she admitted that though Nigeria is going through tough times, it remains and will always be a peace of hope. She stated that being a Nigerian is the superpower of her brand as no matter where she goes, she will always carry a piece of Nigeria with her.
