WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Nollywood actress and businesswoman Iyabo Ojo has penned a heartfelt message following her surprise Mother’s Night party. Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that Iyabo was treated to a surprise Mother’s Night party to celebrate her efforts on behalf of her children. Her colleagues Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Kemi Korede, Sikiratu Sindodo, and others were in attendance. One of the party’s highlights was when Iyabo Ojo got emotional on the dance floor. In the clip, the mother of two was captured breaking down in tears as her friends serenaded her. Now, taking to her Instagram page to share clips from the event, Iyabo expressed her joy and gratitude. She described the event as truly unforgettable and appreciated everyone who planned it. The mother of two stated that their presence and love mean the world to her, and she specially thanked the gospel artists who brought spirit and joy to her soul. “Overwhelmed with joy and gratitude! Yesterday’s Mother’s Night surprise celebration was truly unforgettable. Thank you to my amazing friends for planning this special event and to everyone who joined in to celebrate with me. Your presence and love mean the world, especially as we look forward Don’t forget! Labake Olododo is still showing in cinemas nationwide! Tell a friend to tell a friend and spread the word!” Iyabo is undoubtedly deserving of the Mother’s Night party over her efforts of her two children. Just a few days back, her bestie and colleague, Toyin had poured praises on her. She revealed that she had seen Iyabo’s struggles and pains and how she brought up her children with fear of God. She noted how when people drag Iyabo it’s because of her fighting and standing up for others. Two years back, Iyabo shared her painful experiences of surviving as a single mother and being treated as a second-class citizen due to her failed marriage. Iyabo recounted how people called her all manner of names because of her failed marriage both in the movie industry and the world at large. Recall that in March, 2024, Iyabo revealed her desire for Priscilla to follow her footstep by getting married at a young age and having kids. The mother of two stated that Priscilla always avoids questions about marriage, but she isn’t the type to put her child under pressure. Luckily for her, her desire came to pass as in August, Priscilla brought the Tanzanian singer to Nigeria for his birthday, where she and her family sweetly welcomed him. The actress’s daughter is set to hold her traditional wedding in a week time.
