Nigerian filmmaker Stanley Ontop has been reportedly arrested.
According to reports online, the movie maker was arrested and detained in Asaba by the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID).
Details about his arrest are yet to he ascertained at the time of reporting.
The news has left many divided, as while some rejoiced, others expressed concern for him.

Over the years, Stanley had topped headlines for getting involved in his colleagues’ affairs and weighing in on celebrity issues.
Recently, he expressed Stanley’s disappointment at the outcome of the Actors Guild presidential election following Rita Daniels’ loss. He claimed that Rita would have won the election if the powers in Abuja hadn’t hijacked it. He expressed that some delegates prioritised personal gain over the association’s integrity.
