It was a family reunion for music executive Ubi Franklin as his babymamas, Lilian Esoro and Sandra Iheuwa, supported him at his late sister’s burial.
Kemi Filani reported earlier this month that Ubi had lost his elder sister. In an Instagram post, he revealed that death visited him and took one of the most precious gifts, his sister, who birthed the Ubi Franklin the public knows and opened his eyes to what life truly is. He described the deceased as one of the kindest souls he had ever known and expressed how blessed he was to call her his sister.
The music executive laid his elder sister to rest on Friday, August 15th, in a burial ceremony attended by his exes, Lilian and Sandra and his signee, Iyanya.
On his Instagram story, Ubi shared clips of him posing for photos with his babymamas, who brought the kids to support him.

Recall that Lilian and Ubi Franklin got married in 2015 and separated a year after welcoming their son. Lilian first filed for divorce in a Lagos High Court, and it was denied. Ubi filed in Abuja, and after years of back and forth in court, their marriage was officially dissolved on January 28th, 2021.
Speaking on his feelings for her, Ubi revealed that he still loves Lilian as they share a son, and love will always live there.
In 2023, Ubi had reconciled with Sandra after years of social media spat. On their daughter’s birthday, Iheuwa playfully tackled him over his birthday post for their daughter, querying if it was his birthday. She jokingly slammed him for trying to steal their daughter’s spotlight.
In an Instagram story, Ubi had hailed him after he stormed Atlanta to visit their daughter. She shared a screenshot of them on Facetime as she hailed him, describing him as the best daddy to her daughter.
