Ruth Stanley, the ex girlfriend of reality TV star Bright Chigozie Mbata, also known as Bright Morgan, has spoken publicly for the first time after weeks of being mentioned during his interviews following the BBNaija show.

Naijaonpoint reports that her response came shortly after Bright accused her of attempting to get him disqualified while he was still in the house.

Using her Instagram stories, she expressed displeasure over his constant references to her name and said his comments had forced her to reveal more about their time together.

She explained that their relationship ended on August 7, 2025, and that she even requested Bright to take off a tattoo of her name from his wrist.

According to her, she informed his family and close friends about the breakup to make sure there was no confusion.

The ex-girlfriend also alleged that just a week into their relationship, Bright asked her for financial assistance because he lacked money for food and other needs.

She claimed she continued to support him throughout their time together, adding that her care for him was real and not pretentious.

Although she did not go into full detail, she said that the situation was deeper than what people currently know.

She said she decided to speak because of the accusations Bright made against her in his recent interview, promising to share the full story in due time.

She wrote, “It is not a crime to love someone deeply and genuinely. Yes! I am not ashamed or afraid to say that I loved Bright Morgan genuinely, after he made me believe he was genuine. Seven days into our relationship, Bright Morgna needed my financial help, stating that he had no money for food or groceries, and he had no one else to turn to. I sent him the money, and it’s been that way ever since. Please do not be quick to judge. until you hear the full story. It is a lot deeper than you think.”
