Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Elizabeth Oloruntola, better known as Zita, has reunited with her parents after being away from home for a long time.
Naijaonpoint recalls that during the reality show’s premiere, Zita had disclosed that she left home without her parents’ knowledge and joined the competition on her own.
However, after her time on the show, she recently met with her parents and said they have now accepted her and are proud of her achievements.
In a live chat with fans, Zita explained that her parents were excited to see how far she had gone and even celebrated her for becoming a known face.
She said her father openly expressed joy about her progress and her success during the show, especially her two-time win as Head of House.
Zita added that reuniting with her family brought peace and happiness, as her mother also forgave her for leaving home in the past.
She assured fans that she would continue to share more updates as her bond with her family grows stronger.
She said, “I met with my parents recently and they were very proud of me. My dad was boasting to his staff that his child in now a celebrity. They were so proud that I won Head of House twice.
“Reuniting with my family was fun. We were just chilling and gisting. My mum also forgave my past rebellion,” she revealed.
