God bless you all as you celebrate this special occasion with us! I love you all @rakeem_mk”.

Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that Iyabo had announced the birth of her first grandchild, Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala. The proud grandma shared a photo of her, Priscilla and the baby in the labour room, as she urged her fans and followers to say hello to the latest grandma.

Penning an appreciation post, she appreciated the public for their outpouring of love over their bundle of joy. She noted how the messages have been overwhelming and appreciated them for their prayers, love, and well-wishes.

Last month, Iyabo had revealed her plans for Priscilla’s child’s naming ceremony. In a video posted on her Instagram page, Iyabo revealed that after Omugo (taking care of her newborn), she would host a grand naming ceremony in Lagos.

During Priscilla’s baby shower, Iyabo had advised mothers and women to prophesy good things into their children’s lives, and cautioned them not to believe that because a certain thing happened to their mum, it happened to them and must happen to their children. Iyabo told them to break it as she noted that there is an ancestral curse.

Iyabo is undoubtedly the happiest woman in the world as her prayer request was answered.

Last year, Iyabo revealed her desire for Priscilla to follow her footstep by getting married at a young age and having kids. The mother of two stated that Priscilla always avoids questions about marriage, but she isn’t the type to put her child under pressure.

In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi in March, Iyabo stated that she feels like what her children are reaping now is because of her good deeds. The proud mother of two further stated that when parents have kids early, it makes them feel young, as she noted how nobody wants to grow old.
