Ja Rule is once again taking aim at 50 Cent over Netflix’s Sean Combs: The Reckoning intensifies.
The Queens native accused 50 Cent, whom he repeatedly referred to as “Herman”, of exploiting the docuseries for his own benefit. Ja Rule argued that if 50 were genuinely motivated by concern for victims, he would pledge his earnings to domestic-violence organizations.
When a commenter defended 50 Cent, Ja insisted he wasn’t excusing the allegations surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs. Instead, he said he was highlighting what he sees as 50’s pattern of self-serving behavior.
He pointed to 50 Cent’s past legal issues involving his ex-partner Daphne Joy, including a 2013 vandalism case and Joy’s 2024 accusations of rape and physical abuse…claims the rapper has denied. 50 Cent later sued Joy for defamation before withdrawing the lawsuit without prejudice.
Diddy’s mom, Janice Combs, recently slammed the documentary.
“I am writing this statement to correct some of the lies presented in the Netflix, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, released on December 2, 2025,” she wrote in a statement to Deadline on Saturday. “These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life is intentionally done to mislead viewers and further harm our reputation.”
