WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Jaguar Wright has responded to Brian McKnight, suing her for defamation after she accused him of abuse. Wright hopped on Instagram shortly after news of the lawsuit broke, calling McKnight a “scumbag” and promising to be his “nightmare.” She also claims that he is only suing her because he can no longer sell records, as the information she disseminated had been “out there” for a long time. Wright says that there is “definitely” going to be a countersuit. The R&B veteran filed a defamation lawsuit against Wright on Tuesday (April 29), claiming she spread multiple false and damaging statements about him to her followers. In her posts, Wright accused McKnight of hiring and abusing sex workers and also alleged he was physically abusive toward his ex-wife, Julie McKnight. Wright is also claiming that Julie is actually her cousin. The “Back at One” singer called the allegations completely false, denied ever harming his ex-wife, and said he had no idea Wright and Julie were even related. He accuses Wright of being a liar.
