WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Karl Jordan Jr., one of the men who was convicted in the murder of later Run DMC member Jam Master Jay, was reportedly stabbed on Saturday morning in jail. Sources say the brawl involved “multiple incarcerated individuals” and that two inmates were sent to the hospital for treatment. Jordan Jr. is currently being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), which is also currently housing Sean “Diddy” Combs while awaiting sentencing. His condition is currently “stable,” but he did receive multiple serious wounds from the attack. Multiple others reportedly received minor injuries from the fight. Jordan Jr., Jam Master Jay’s godson, was charged with firing the weapon that killed the DJ. Ronald Washington, a longtime friend of Jam Master Jay, planned the murder with Jordan as payback after he was allegedly cut out of a potentially lucrative cocaine deal. The deal was said to be worth around $200,000. “More than two decades after they killed Jason Mizell in his recording studio, Jordan and Washington have finally been held accountable for their cold-blooded crime driven by greed and revenge,” U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said at the time. “That the victim, professionally known as Jam Master Jay, was a hip hop icon and Run-DMC’s music was born in Hollis, Queens, in this very district, and beloved by so many, adds to the tragedy of a life senselessly cut short.”
