Jandor

Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has launched an Independent Campaign Group (ICG) to rally support for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections in Lagos State.

Jandor, the 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos and founder of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, unveiled the group on Monday as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation across the state.

Comprising youth volunteers, loyal party members, community leaders, and experienced mobilisers, the ICG is set to operate in all 377 wards and 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of Lagos.

Its goal is to galvanise voter turnout and promote credible leadership under the APC banner.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Jandor reaffirmed his commitment to quality governance and grassroots development.

“This campaign group is not just about politics, it is about ensuring quality representation at the grassroots, consolidating the gains of good governance, and empowering the people to choose credible leaders under our great party, the APC. I have taken it upon myself to fund and mobilise this initiative because I believe in the future of our state and the strength of our people,” he said.

The launch event attracted key political figures, including Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, former PDP Deputy Governorship candidate Alhaja Safuratu Abdul-Kareem, youth leaders, and community stakeholders.

The ICG will be led by a network of 24 state apex leaders, 57 local government coordinators, and 377 ward leaders.

Their strategy includes door-to-door mobilisation, voter education, media engagement, and ward-level outreach aimed at promoting APC’s message of continuity, development, and responsive leadership across the state.
