Janelle Monáe Teases A Carnival Of Frights For AMC's FearFest

Hosted by award-winning artist Janelle Monáe, FearFest is AMC’s annual horror and genre programming event, which offers over 650 hours of horror films, series, and specials across linear and streaming platforms. The event will run the entire month of October, and Monáe’s own curated list of horror favorites (called “FearFest Favorites by Janelle Monáe”) will be available to stream on AMC+.

FearFest programming highlights include fan-favorite franchises and collections such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Friday the 13th, Final Destination and the Stephen King library including It (2017), IT the mini-series, The Shining, and Misery, as well as new episodes of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, an all-new series in the Anne Rice Universe, Talamasca: The Secret Order, and ghoulish holiday specials. \ The goosebump gala also features themed marathons, such as “Fear the 80s” (Silver Bullet, Christine, Poltergeist, etc.), “Creature Feature” (Tremors, Lake Placid, Pet Sematary, etc.), and more.
