Jason Lee is putting his critics on blast after an investigation cleared him of allegations that he misused city funds while serving as the vice mayor of Stockton, and much of his anger is directed at Joe Budden.
After reports confirmed no wrongdoing tied to the alleged $50,000 Wild ’N Out expense, Jason Lee took to a livestream to demand the same energy from those who questioned him.
“Y’all remember when they tried it at the city of Stockton and said I did something with the Wild ’N Out stuff,” Lee said.
“Well obviously I’ve been vindicated.” He then turned his attention to Budden, who had discussed the allegations on his podcast.

“Joe Budden, I don’t know where you are with your fat ass lips around that mic,” Lee said bluntly. “You ran your fat lips talking about me taking money from the city. Now that I’ve been cleared, run them fat a– lips back over there on the microphone.”
Lee made it clear he wants a public correction.
“Go run me the receipts and apologize, punk,” he added, accusing Budden and others of spreading accusations without facts. He also dismissed the idea that he needed public money in the first place. “I don’t need $50,000,” Lee said. “Y’all know I got money.”

According to the investigation’s summary, no city official held a prohibited financial interest related to the event. Still, Lee noted taxpayers spent more than $50,000 to reach that conclusion. “Y’all been trying to get me to crack,” he said. “But one thing I never do is crack under pressure.”
