WATCH THE VIDEO HERE A woman who recently accused Jay-Z of rape has been caught on tape admitting that she lied about the assault. Jane Doe alleged Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs sexually assaulted her at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards after-party when she was 13 years old. On the tape, her attorney, Tony Buzbee, can be heard coercing her into making the allegations. “But Jay-Z … you’re saying he was definitely there? But he had no part in it?” a private investigator can be heard saying in the audio. “He was there,” Doe replied. Another private investigator asked, “He was just there, but he didn’t have anything to do with any sexual acts towards you, it was strictly …”
“Yeah,” Doe replied. Doe then outs Buzbee, claiming he pressured to to make the false allegations. “He was the one that kind of pushed me towards going forward with him, with Jay-Z,” Doe she said. An investigator then asks, “With Jay-Z? Buzbee did?” Doe responds, “Yeah.” “Do you know why?” the other private investigator asked Doe. “No,” she replied. The lawsuit filed once back was recently dismissed by Buzbee with prejudice but Jay-Z is now suing him for defamation. Jay-Z has always maintained he was innocent and his attorney, Alex Spiro, issued a statement about the new recording. “[Doe] says in no uncertain terms, Mr. Carter did not do this. It is effectively a lie, and the only reason Mr. Carter is even involved in this is because she was pushed to involve him, pushed to include him by a lawyer,” said Spiro.
