Jay Z and Beyoncé Eye $100 Million New York City Apartment Upgrade, Sources Tell Media Take Out
Jay Z and Beyoncé already live better than most billionaires. But apparently, even their current New York setup is no longer enough.
Media Take Out has learned that the superstar couple is actively shopping for a new Manhattan apartment priced around $100 million, with plans to upgrade their already impressive New York footprint.
And yes, this would be on top of their other jaw dropping properties.
From Bel Air to Billionaires Row
As Media Take Out previously reported, Jay Z and Beyoncé currently reside full time in Bel Air, where they own a $100 million ultra modern mansion that looks like something out of a sci fi movie. They also have a nearby $200 million Malibu vacation home, making them neighbors to tech titans and Hollywood elites.
That is just the California side.
The couple also owns a $40 million estate in the Hamptons and a 10,000 square foot Manhattan penthouse that most people would consider the ultimate dream home.
But apparently, the Carters are not done.
Quietly Touring NYC Mega Homes
Sources tell Media Take Out that while Jay-Z and Beyoncé were in New York last month, they quietly toured two ultra luxury apartments.
One property is an $80 million West Village penthouse, known for privacy, new money vibes, and discreet celebrity residents.

The second option is even bigger. A $100 million off market listing on Billionaires Row, the stretch of Manhattan famous for sky high towers, foreign billionaires, and apartments that feel more like private resorts in the sky.
Both properties are reportedly move in ready and designed for buyers who value privacy, security, and prestige.
All Cash, No Games
According to insiders, Jay Z and Beyoncé are not window shopping.
We are told the couple are highly motivated buyers, and real estate brokers involved expect them to make an all cash offer on one of the properties before the end of the year.
No financing. No delays. Just wire the money and close.
That is billionaire behavior.
Why the Sudden Upgrade
While no official reason has been given, insiders say the couple wants a more iconic New York base that reflects where they are now. Not just artists, but moguls, power players, and cultural royalty.
Their recent New York visit included attending a Brandy concert, which also put them back in the Manhattan social scene. Sources say once they started spending more time in the city again, upgrading their New York home became an easy decision.
Living on a Different Level
At this point, Jay Z and Beyoncé are not just buying homes. They are collecting landmarks.
Bel Air. Malibu. The Hamptons. Manhattan.
And now, possibly one of the most expensive apartments in New York City history.
If this deal goes through, do not be surprised if it quietly closes with no press release, no announcement, and no explanation.
Because when you are Jay Z and Beyoncé, flexing quietly is still a flex.
