Jelly Roll says a shopping trip in Australia took a sour turn. The country star opened up on Instagram about an awkward experience at a Louis Vuitton store in Sydney.
The country singer claimed that employees treated him and his team like suspects rather than customers.
“Hey man, the Louis Vuitton in Sydney legitimately just treated us like we were finna come in and rob that place,” Jelly Roll told fans in a video. “The last time I was looked at like a criminal this bad, I was an actual criminal.”

Before his rise to fame, Jelly Roll, 40, spent time behind bars for drug distribution and faced a series of charges, including aggravated robbery and shoplifting. He was released in 2009 after serving a year of an eight-year sentence.
Earlier this year, the Tennessee Board of Parole recommended that he be granted a pardon to clear his record, and he now frequently visits juvenile detention centers while on tour to speak with young inmates about second chances.
