Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has sworn in two new permanent members of the state Civil Service Commission, describing the civil service as a “pillar of government operations and service delivery.” The ceremony took place at the Council Chambers of the Government House, Dutse.
Governor Namadi said the appointments were part of his administration’s ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the civil service to ensure effective implementation of government policies and programs. “As part of our continued efforts to improve service delivery in Jigawa State, today we are swearing in two new permanent members of the Civil Service Commission,” he said.
The newly appointed commissioners are Alhaji Babandi Saleh as Permanent Commissioner II and Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu Fagam as Permanent Commissioner III. Governor Namadi noted that this marked the first time all permanent members, including the chairman, have been appointed under his administration.
“I congratulate the new members on their appointment. They were carefully selected based on their records, experience, and proven dedication to public service. I urge you to work diligently and uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism,” the governor said, stressing the need for efficient service delivery for the benefit of Jigawa residents.
Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn-in commissioners, Alhaji Babandi Saleh expressed appreciation for the trust placed in them and pledged commitment to supporting the governor’s reform agenda.
