Jim Jones is being dragged online after claiming that he has had a more successful career than legendary rapper Nas.
“I was a superior Nas fan but when you get into the game you realize your idols be rivals. My son can’t tell me one Nas record. I got a hell of a catalog. Me, Jim Jones, myself, gold records, platinum records, no Diplomats, nobody else, me, Jim Jones,” he said on Fat Joe and Jadakiss’ new podcast.
Jim Jones says he got more billboard entries and better catalog than Nas in 2025:
“Let’s keep it a buck, Im spanking everybody with my catalog even without Dipset, pull up my billboard entries then pull up Nas billboard entries right now in 2025 I gotta be honest no disrespect” pic.twitter.com/mfGCFerCYD

He continued, “Check my track record, then check everybody else track record. Then go to Billboard and check all my entries then check all them n–as entries. I been spanking a lot of this s–t. Pull up Nas’ Billboard entries, then pull up my Billboard entries.”
Jones has charted three projects on the Billboard 200, but Nas? He’s on a whole other level with 27 albums making the cut, with 16 of them hitting the Top 10 and six going all the way to No. 1. Jones has managed to land two joints on the Billboard Hot 100, with one cracking the coveted Top 10 while the Queensbridge legend boasts 27 Hot 100 entries and a pair of Top 10s to his name.
I can’t believe there was ever a discourse about Jim Jones being better than Nas pic.twitter.com/3pww6d6Zqn
