Jim Jones has opened up about his long-running beef with now-incarcerated rapper Max B and revealed whether he is willing to squash the beef.
In a recent clip of Capo’s “Let’s Rap About It,” co-hosted by Fabolous, Maino, and Dave East, the quartet discussed Atlanta rappers Young Thug and Lucci putting their beef aside and collaborating on each other’s albums to try to bring the city together.
Maino asked Jones whether he’d consider doing something similar with Max B, who is rumored to be released from prison soon.
“I may forgive, I don’t forget and even if I forgive, I’m not here to make anybody feel comfortable,” he said, later adding, “Just because someone else figured they situation, don’t mean that everybody could be subjected to doing that, You don’t know how severe it may be to a person.”
Jones maintains that the only thing he is chasing is money.
In July, Max B called in to Drink Champs from Northern State Prison, NJ, where he shared that he has forgiven Jones.
“Listen, Jim said a bunch of hard s–t about me. So, we all say hard s–t about each other, okay? Jim done wished me dead, all type of s–t. It’s all good. Listen, man. It’s love, man. I want to start over. I’m a new man. I’m a married man. I got four kids,” he said.
He added, “Like, I’m on a whole different time right now, my n—a I’m out here to get my money and ride out the sunset with this s–t. It’s in there for me, though. I’m going tell you that. So that’s the goal.”
