Jim Jones Says He’s Responsible for Cam’s Pink Trend
Cam’ron is known for bringing pink to Hip-Hop but according to Jim Jones, he says that he was the one who put Cam on.
“I created the aesthetic for the Diplomats, you heard? Down to Cam’s pink. He’ll tell you. Sooner or later he gon’ have to tell it, where he got the pink from. If I’m lying, I’m flying. You could ask Dame. You could ask Cam, because those were the two people that was snapping on me when I came in and didn’t get my truck,” he said on Justin Laboy’s Respectfully podcast.
Capo claims that he turned up at the office one day wearing pink Diadoras with pink stripes and a pink Polo shirt on and that everyone loved his pink ensemble.
He says that after Cam had laid eyes on him, he had told Jones he was running with the pink, too. Jones said he rocks pink every Easter… Cam continued on with the trend outside of the holidays.
Jim Jones and Cam’ron are currently beefing after Cam sat down with 50 Cent and spilled some tea about their past beef.
