WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Jim Jones is defending Drake’s lawsuit against UMG, shooting down claims that Drizzy snitched on the industry. Drake not only slammed UMG for promoting Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” but he mentioned several streamers in the lawsuit whose reactions to the song were monetized on Youtube, leading to several major streamers accusing Drizzy of being a snitch. “He’s not snitching on nobody. He’s not in a court of law, he’s not personally suing Kendrick Lamar, which everybody seems to think that this lawsuit is about,” he said on the Broke N’ Frontin podcast. “He’s suing UMG, which is the biggest company that has the biggest bag, n-gga.” He then compared Drake’s lawsuit to Tracy Morgan’s life-threatening accident where he was hit by a Walmart truck and received millions in compensation. He says if people were happy for Morgan, they should be happy for Drake. “This is a dangerous thing he’s doing. This is some James Bond sh-t he’s doing,” he added. UMG has filed to have Drake’s lawsuit dismissed.
