Joe Budden has been charged with lewdness after he was reportedly found “completely naked” outside of his apartment in Edgewater, New Jersey.
According to a statement from the police, the incident took place on December 4. Edgewater Police Department’s press release claims officers were called to an apartment complex after a resident in the building was alerted by their doorbell camera.
A very naked Budden was reportedly seen on camera trying to access a neighbor’s apartment with the wrong code several times, before returning to his own apartment.
“As a result of police investigation, Budden was charged with lewdness (disorderly persons offense) on a complaint summons,” the statement reads.
Budden, whose podcast recently returned to its old recording studio, revealed earlier this month that he had been “sleepwalking” at the time of the incident.
“I just sleptwalked somewhere I shouldn’t have sleptwalked,” he told his co-hosts. “Good naked sleepwalking. I just did it again.”
Budden has previously spoken about his sleepwalking disorder.
