Bruno Mars and Sexyy Red teamed up for their new single “Fat Juicy & Wet,” which surprised a few fans.
The song is very graphic in nature, something Sexyy’s fans are used to ,but Mars’ fans are not.
“Fat, juicy, and wet,” Mars sings, and “That good kitty-kitty, good kitty-kitty/Make it my pet.”
Budden says the track will work, but mostly in strip clubs.
“I’m not trying to bring race into everything. However, as I age, race does have a lot to do with sh-t. This song is formulaic and I have a problem with the formula used to attract Black listeners versus the formula used to attract a white audience,” Budden told his cohosts.
“Sexyy Red, when it’s time to sell a mixtape or get sh-t poppin’ in the hood at ground level where you need it to be, it’s a whole bunch of, Pull my tampon out, f–k me in the a-s raw. It’s the raunchiest, nastiest sh-t that works because we like that sh-t.”
Budden did not like Mars’ line, ‘P-ssy so good, make me wanna gangbang and throw up a set.’
“I’m sick of — my same point last week with Donald Trump using his mugshot to relate to Black people, this is the same thing to me,” he went on. “I want there to be a day where white people, or Bruno Mars and his people, don’t feel like in order to attact us, they need to start talking about gangbanging.”
