WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Joie Chavis revealed that she and her children have moved in with her mother until she’s allowed to return to her Los Angeles home following the wildfires. Joie says that her house has not been destroyed, but she has been informed by law enforcement and the fire department that she cannot return home for almost two weeks. “My house didn’t burn down but I can’t go back there,” she says in the video clip. “They’re saying I can’t go back home for another 10 to 14 days. So, that’s crazy because we’re rotating four to five outfits. You know what I mean? But, like I said, I’m super grateful that our house is still intact. Everything around us burnt down.” Joie Chavis says she is staying with her mom along with her three kids and saving up for a house after the LA fires. — My Mixtapez (@mymixtapez) January 23, 2025 Joie says that she now wants to by a new home after first going through a traumatizing robbery and then being forced to evacuate as wildfires devastated L.A. county. “It’s time to just refresh. I really want to cut my rent in half so I can save and buy a house. That was the plan anyways, to buy a house by the end of this year. I can find what I need for less than half of what I’m paying right now,” she said. Joie shares a five-month-old daughter, Harlo Rose, with NFL star Trevon Diggs. She also has a 13-year-old daughter with Bow Wow, and a 6-year-old son with Future.
