Nicki Minaj Could Lose Her $20 Million Mansion As Court Moves Toward Forced Sale

Nicki Minaj is facing a serious legal and financial cloud over her ultra-luxury Hidden Hills estate, and the situation is quickly escalating.

A Los Angeles judge has signaled that she is prepared to authorize the forced sale of the rapper’s $20 million home to satisfy an unpaid judgment connected to an alleged backstage assault involving her husband, Kenneth Petty.

According to court proceedings, Judge Cindy Pánuco warned attorneys that unless the debt is resolved soon, the property may be seized and sold to cover what is now a $503,318 judgment owed to German security guard Thomas Weidenmuller.

In plain terms, the court is losing patience.

The Incident That Sparked It All

The legal battle stems from a 2019 concert in Frankfurt, Germany. Weidenmuller, who was working event security, claims an altercation unfolded after a fan breached a barricade and made it onto the stage.

Court filings state that Minaj became visibly upset and confronted a female guard, with tensions rising quickly. When Weidenmuller stepped in to defend the guard, the situation allegedly spiraled. He claims Minaj tossed a shoe in his direction, though it did not make contact.

The more serious allegations involve her husband, Kenneth Petty. Weidenmuller alleges Petty struck him during the confrontation, resulting in injuries that required extended medical treatment and multiple procedures.

Petty has denied wrongdoing in the past.

Silence That Cost Millions

Here’s where it gets more complicated. According to the court record, neither Minaj nor Petty responded to the initial lawsuit filed in January 2022. Their lack of response resulted in a default judgment being entered against them.

Weidenmuller originally sought more than $700,000, but the court ultimately reduced the amount to just over $503,000.

Judges also noted that attorneys made repeated attempts to serve legal papers, but were unsuccessful.

Now, the court is considering more aggressive measures.

Mansion On The Line

Minaj’s Hidden Hills property, known for its sprawling grounds and celebrity-level privacy, could now become collateral. The court has the authority to approve a forced sale if the judgment remains unpaid.

Judge Pánuco has already made it clear that approval is very much on the table if the matter is not resolved quickly.

Online reactions have been mixed, with some fans expressing concern while others urge the rapper to settle the matter swiftly and move forward.

As of now, there has been no official public response from Minaj or her legal team addressing the potential property seizure.

What Happens Next?

The next court hearing could determine whether Nicki Minaj keeps her mansion or sees it placed on the auction block to pay the debt.

For a woman who built her empire on control and dominance, this situation represents one of the most serious legal crossroads of her career.

Stay tuned. This one is far from over.
