Jussie Smollett is upset after he was scolded during a recent episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and says he was “disrespected.”
Smollett was on Team Alpha with reality star Gia Giudice, former NFL player Andrew East, and Sister Wives’ Kody Brown, but instructor Jason “Foxy” Fox had some things to get off his chest.
“You’re on the wrong bus,” Fox quipped after removing Smollett’s hood.

“I’m here because I’ve been through some s–-t and it’s been very public. I was called a liar with everybody believing something that was not true,” said Smollett in a confessional. He called the show a “reset” after his career nosedived post-Empire.
In 2019 when he reported a hate crime attack that prosecutors later alleged he staged. He was convicted of disorderly conduct in 2020 and served 150 days in county jail. Though the Illinois Supreme Court reversed the charges in 2024, his career largely stalled. He recently resurfaced in Netflix’s The Truth About Jussie Smollett?, doubling down on his innocence claims.
On day one, Smollett faltered during a grueling sandbag challenge. “I’m gonna die,” he gasped, only to be blasted by Navy SEAL Jovon Quarles: “Sixteen, what are you doing? You are all truly p–-sing me off, especially you, Sixteen!”
In another confessional, Smollett said, “I’m okay with taking orders. I just don’t like to be yelled at all up in my face… I don’t like being disrespected.”
New episodes of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” will air on Fox on Thursdays and will be available to stream next day on Hulu.
