The objection, dated December 9, 2024, was filed by Farotimi’s legal team led by Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, along with 19 other lawyers. The defence team includes three other Senior Advocates of Nigeria—Festus Emiri, Bamidele Ibironke, and Segun Ololade—supported by 16 additional legal practitioners. However, prison officials brought Farotimi to court on Tuesday morning. Notably, the embattled legal practitioner was not handcuffed like the previous time.
