Senate President, Godwill Akpabio, has refuted claims that he collapsed and was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment.
Kenny Okolugbo, Consultant on Communications and Strategy to the Senate President, described the reports about Akpabio’s health as false.
According to a report obtained by Politics Nigeria, Okolugbo said succinctly, “It’s a lie, fake news,” without providing further details.
The clarification follows a report on Monday by an online news outlet alleging that the Senate President had collapsed and was flown on a private jet to London for medical attention.
