The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno has paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu.
Eno visited the president at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock on Friday, July 18.
This was disclosed by Bayo Onanuga, the special adviser to the president on information and strategy.
In a photo post shared on X, Onanuga said the governor, who doubles as the leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) visited the president alongside the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
Onanuga wrote, “Akwa Ibom Governor, Umo Eno, and Senate President, Godswill Akpabio visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday. Governor Eno is the APC leader in his state.”
Recall that Eno had recently decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC alongside key officials and party members in Akwa Ibom.
The governor who was recently inaugurated into the APC said he left the PDP because the party was no longer serving the state.
