The All Progressives Congress (APC) has moved its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Thursday to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Felix Morka, national publicity secretary of the party, announced the change in a statement on Tuesday.

He said the meeting, earlier slated to be held at the party’s national secretariat in Wuse II, Abuja, will now take place at 2pm at the new venue “due to logistical reasons”.

One of the key items on the agenda of the ruling party is the possible selection of a new national chairman.

Multiple sources within the APC said the meeting will also consider reports from the Constitution Review Committee, preparations for party congresses, and other internal restructuring efforts.

The party has been without a substantive chairman since Abdullahi Ganduje resigned following pressure from within the party.
