The Civil Defence, Immigration and Prisons Service Board (CDIPB) has informed applicants who successfully initiated their application to retrieve and complete them as the agency portal reopens today, Monday, 21st, 2025.

This was contained in a press statement released by the agency on Sunday night.

The interruptions that trailed the initial registration sparked public outcry as applicants failed to complete their registration process due to what the agency referred to as a high volume of applicants.

On July 17, CDCFIB announced a temporary suspension of its online recruitment portal as part of efforts to enhance its performance and ensure a smoother application process for prospective candidates.

The portal, which opened on Monday, July 14, is being used for recruitment into four major paramilitary agencies: the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.

“We appreciate the enthusiasm and interest of young Nigerians to serve their country through these vital agencies and are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process,” the CDCFIB stated.

The agency expressed its sincere apology for the interruptions while claiming that the interruption was necessary to enhance the portal in its quest to accommodate all prospective applicants, thereby facilitating a seamless, transparent and equitable recruitment process
