The governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani on Monday, announced the reshuffling of his cabinet.
The governor in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibraheem Musa said Sani carried out a minor cabinet reshuffling which is aimed at re-energising the machinery of government for optimal service delivery.
Musa noted that among those affected by the governor’s decision to reshuffle his cabinet are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Sule Shuaibu who has now been moved to the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs.
The former commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, James Kanyip now takes over from Musa as the new commissioner for justice.
Congratulating both commissioners, Sani urged them to handle their new responsibilities with fairness, total commitment and integrity.
“The Governor expects them to bring their extensive experiences and knowledge to bear on their new assignments. He wished them God’s guidance and protection,’’ the governor said.
