WATCH THE VIDEO HERE MultiChoice Nigeria has announced an increase in the prices of its DStv and GOtv packages, effective March 1, 2025. The company made the disclosure in a email notice to its customers on Monday. The notice reads, “Dear Customer, please note that effective 1 March 2025, there will be a price adjustment on all DStv packages. This is to enable us to continue offering our customers world-class homegrown and international content, delivered through the best technology.” Under the new pricing, the DStv Compact bouquet will increase from N15,700 to N19,000, Compact Plus will rise to N30,000, and the Premium subscription will now cost N44,500. For GOtv users, the cost of the GOtv package will increase from N3,600 to N3,900, while the GOtv Plus tariff will rise from N4,850 to N5,800. The GOtv Max package will now be priced at N8,500, Supa will cost N11,400, and Supa Plus will rise to N16,800. MultiChoice cited the increasing operational costs in Nigeria, including currency depreciation and high inflation, as the primary reasons behind the price hike.
