Obaze expressed disappointment in Okupe, who had served as the Director-General of Obi’s campaign during the 2023 presidential election. He noted that Okupe had played a direct role in finalizing the policy document that detailed Obi’s economic vision, which centres on transforming Nigeria’s economy from a consumption-driven model to a production-based one. He added: “Perhaps, he [Okupe] has a touch of amnesia. Well, he should know.
