This confirmation follows growing public criticism after WAEC abruptly shut down its result-checker portal on Wednesday, citing “technical issues.”
The announcement, posted on WAEC’s official X handle, @waecnigeria, drew widespread backlash, with many Nigerians expressing anger over the poor performance recorded in the 2025 examination, especially in English Language.
