According to the statement, Governor Abba Yusuf has accepted Mr. Diggol’s resignation. The statement highlighted that Diggol initially served as the Commissioner for Transportation when the current administration took office in 2023. In December 2024, during a cabinet reshuffle, he was reassigned to the Ministry of Project Monitoring and Evaluation, where he served until his resignation. Sanusi Tofa stated that the Governor expressed his gratitude for Mr. Diggol’s service. He said: “Governor Yusuf expressed his gratitude to Engr. Diggol for his selfless service, unwavering commitment, dedication, and exemplary work ethic during his tenure as a member of the State Executive Council.” The governor also extended his best wishes to Mr. Diggol, hoping for his success in future endeavours.
