Juventus are reportedly exploring a fresh approach to land Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, with defender Federico Gatti potentially included as a makeweight in negotiations with Napoli, Footynaija.com reports.

The Bianconeri have long admired Osimhen and view him as a crucial piece in their attacking rebuild. However, prising him away from their Serie A rivals is expected to be a complex challenge, given Napoli’s reluctance to strengthen a direct competitor.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are prepared to sweeten the deal by offering Gatti, a centre-back highly rated by Napoli’s new boss Antonio Conte. The former Italy coach is eager to reinforce his defensive line and is also interested in Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno.

This proposed exchange could benefit both clubs — Napoli would address their defensive concerns, while Juventus secure a proven goalscorer to lead their attack.

The Turin giants are also considering offloading Dusan Vlahovic and extending Randal Kolo Muani’s loan from PSG, making Osimhen a top priority.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been in prolific form, scoring 20 goals in 22 league appearances.

The 26-year-old forward’s performances have only heightened interest from Europe’s elite, with Juventus keen to position themselves as serious contenders for his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
