Kunle Adejoke, SAN, popularly known as K-RAD, has formally declared his intention to contest the 2026 Osun State governorship election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The declaration event was held on Monday at the APC State Secretariat in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.

K-RAD outlined his plans to reposition the state’s economy through strategic reforms aimed at making life more abundant for the people.

He pledged to re-engineer and overhaul Osun’s economy by leveraging both natural and human resources.

The governorship hopeful said he had been working on his vision since 2011, with a focus on land management, agricultural revolution, and financial policies that could make the state self-sustaining without federal allocations.

He expressed confidence that his approach would introduce developmental economic policies capable of driving long-term prosperity in the state.

K-RAD also stated that, regardless of the outcome of the APC primaries, he would continue to work for the party’s success in the 2026 election.

Addressing his supporters earlier, K-RAD affirmed that, if given the opportunity to serve, he would create a conducive environment for local and foreign investors, focusing on key sectors such as agriculture, mining, industrialization, and tourism.

According to him, “My vision for our dear State is simple but profound: to build a State where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive, where innovation is celebrated, where public service is efficient, and where our rich cultural heritage is preserved and promoted. My vision is for an Osun that is a model of good governance, economic prosperity, and social justice.
