WATCH THE VIDEO HERE NIGERIAN Airforce (NAF) helicopter has reportedly crashed in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The community is very close to the headquarters of the Nigerian Airforce Air Training Centre in Mando, Igabi LGA. The management of the Nigerian Airforce is yet to issue an official statement regarding the occurrence. However, villagers stated that the helicopter crashed in the early hours of this morning in Taimi village, near Rigachikun, where they saw the pilot emerging from the wreckage. Following the tragedy, a team of Airforce officials from the Nigerian Air Force Air Training Centre and 401 Flying School were said to have roped off the location to secure it for emergency rescue operations while also investigating the reason of the crash. “A team of military officers from the Nigerian Air Force swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the area and conduct an initial investigation.” “They cordoned off the crash site to prevent unauthorized access and to ensure the safety of the villagers. The officers also began preliminary assessments to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unknown at this time,”said a local.
