Kai Cenat is one of the biggest streamers in the world, and he has revealed that he once turned down a $60 million gambling deal.
He spilled the details to gospel singer Kirk Franklin, who appeared as a guest on his Mafiathon 3 event.
“I learned that not all money is good money. Like, a lot of the times, there’s gonna be times and opportunities where you’re gonna wanna get money to do certain things that you wouldn’t normally do,” he explained.
“Like, 2023, my first Mafiathon ever, I was offered like $60 million. $60 million to do something that I did not want to do, which is like gambling and stuff like that,” she shared. “I didn’t wanna take it because I knew it would mess me up. I knew it would make me lose focus on what I’ve got going on right now.”
As of September 2025, Cenat’s net worth is estimated to be as high as $35 million. It’s not the first time he turned his back on millions.
In May, during a recent Twitch stream, Cenat indicated that Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Tubi all expressed an interest in his Streamer University but he turned down all offers.
“With an idea like this so original, you gotta keep it where it’s at,” he said at the time. “I want y’all to learn something, bro. Y’all channels, and who you are as a person. This y’all idea, this is your guy’s stuff. Treat your platform as you would treat as you would treat other platforms. Shout out to all these big platforms, they have subscriptions, bro. Twitch, I think of it all like this: If you gonna sub up, you gonna get some good s–t. Y’all have the opportunity to make y’all platforms as big as other platforms.”
