WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Kanye West has upset social media again by using the X, formerly Twitter, platform to seek out a jeweler to design a swastika chain for him. “For all jewelers I’m looking for swastika chain designs,” he wrote on Elon Musk’s X platform, “Please submit to [email protected].” Ye recently sold swastika t-shirts on his Shopify website which was eventually shut down by the company. His series of anti-semitic posts has lasted for months and recently, he announced that he would not be apologizing for anything he’s said, despite calling himself a “Nazi” and claiming that he loves Hitler. Ye has defended his use of the hate symbol. “When I use a swastika I render myself unusable to users,” he wrote on X, “The swastika to shows n—as that we don’t have to be afraid of white people.” The Anti-Defamation League’s CEO Jonathan Greenblatt blasted Ye in a statement to Daily Mail. “There is no excuse – none – for praising Hitler. Glorifying a genocidal dictator with swastika merch is not ‘edgy’ or ‘controversial.”” He continued, “When someone with Kanye’s influence spreads Nazi glorification, it emboldens extremists. It’s unacceptable and downright dangerous.”
